A pipe coupling comprising a housing which can be clamped about pipe ends which are to be interconnected, and within which housing there is enclosed an inwardly open sealing gasket possessing a substantially C-shaped axial cross-sectional configuration, and both ends of which are supported upon the outer jacket surface of a respective substantially truncated cone-shaped clamping ring, each of which is retained at its outer periphery in the axial direction within the housing and is provided with claws which engage with the periphery of the pipe ends. This invention relates to a sealing technique. Couplings for connecting pipes are known, comprising a housing with a sealing lip, the end sides of which rest on the surface of the Z-ring, made in the form of a truncated cone / held in the housing against axial displacement and having sharp protrusions I on the inner surface. They have the disadvantage lack of pressure. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the connection. This is achieved by the fact that the proposed coupling is provided with spacer rings that tighten the clamping ring, one of the spacer rings has a triangular cross section and the other is circular, the ends of the rings are set to gaps between the ends so that they can be rotated relative to each other. the cross section has a larger diameter compared to the inner contact line of the spacer of the triangular cross section. FIG. 1 shows the proposed coupling assembly; in fig. 2 - section A - A of figure 1 (the right part of the section is shown with rigidly closed housing); in fig. 3 - spacer ring of circular cross section; in fig. 4 - the same. In the middle part of the cuff has protrusions 39 and thin sections 40, giving the profile a wavy appearance (figure 1). The ends of the cuff have tapered surfaces 41, 42 and 43, 44. The outer planes 41 and 43 abut on one side 45, 46 of the tape 19. The inner planes 42 and 44 are adjacent to the clamping rings 47 and 48, which are made of high strength steel tape that conically bent in the form of: one turn with overlapping ends. They are fastened to the outer diameter: at the corners 49 and 50 of the flanges 3 and 4. By the inner diameter, the clamping rings have protrusions forming plates 51 and edges 52 cutting into the ends of the pipes to be joined. The clamping rings 47 and 48 are enclosed by a spacer ring 53 of triangular cross section. The outer surface 54 of the ring is adjacent to the surface 20; housing 2. The conical surfaces 55: and 56 are adjacent to the folded end of the belt 19 and to the clamping rings. The ends 57 and 58 of the spacer are joined during tightening (Fig. 4). A circular spacer ring 59 is located on the inside of the clamping ring. Its ends 60 and 61, when tightened, are connected (Fig. 3) ,. The rings 59 may have a triangular cross-section (figure 5), the cone-shaped surface of which should be adjacent to the clamping rings 47 and 4B. /four J Due to the fact that the clamping rings are tightened with spacer rings, a reliable connection of the pipes occurs.
